i pod emergencies

i'm in love
so good live...i don't think 70% of the crowd knew what to expect when they arrived...the thought process probably went something like this:
"twilight concert series, gallivan center, free, pot, i'm in....who is bon iver?"
and when he played i heard things like this:
"his voice sounds like a girl"
"has he hit puberty yet?"
"how old is that kid?"
okay, so his music is NOT for everyone, but i loved every second of it and my company was great...plus the back of a motorcycle was my mode of transportation...that may have been the best part
afterward
my ipod is a vital organ...it is always with me...i whipped it out at this concert to show my friend a song and he said "really, why do you have your ipod? we're at a concert"
(this is the ironic part) "you never know when you'll need it...like when my car broke down and i had to wait two hours, i would have died without it..."
i left my car at work and for some odd reason i had left the lights on (i arrived at work in said car during broad daylight)...i realized this once i was in the car and it wouldn't start...my friend had left, plus he was on a motorcycle which (as awesome as it is) would not have been able to give my car the needed jump...so, while i waited for my rad uncle to rescue me, i whipped out my baby and rocked out to brandi carlisle completely content with life-despite the fact my car was dead...
peace+love
