my week is filled with excessive (yet not enough) singing...and plenty of opera, and i've grown to LOVE it--even if some people's vibrato is still a little much for my taste...but just sharing one of my new favorites, which is unfortunately a soprano piece...i can only dream of hitting those notes with ease

ok, i love this too. one of the servers i work with is a vocal performance major and she has an AMAZING opera voice. the owner makes her sing for his friends when she works and she always performs a little bit of this song.

One of my favs too. I listen to it nearly every night along with some other Gianni Sachhi. Maybe you will not complain at my Sunday afternoon opera as others in the fam have done. LM

With ease??? Can you even get that high in stress? Stick with your mettzo - I like it!
ha ha, mom i'm a mezzo and always will be-don't you worry about it...being a mezzo is much more about tone color than range and it would be awesome if i could extend my range so much that those notes sound full...
and yes, i can with stress...singing 3 hours a day has really worked wonders on my voice in the last month
