of course i did not forget about you mom. we just decided to e-mail later today.

pmg aka that book of all knowledge (besides the BOM) says, "life on earth is an opportunity and a blessing. Our purpose in this life is to have joy and prepare to return to God's presence." and oh, do i have joy! ba ha ha. despite all the hard stuff i really do love the mtc and being on a mission. the BOM is sweet. i love studying.

I have new comps. remember hermana woffinden? we are best friends and comps so it's great. and we're with hermana provost who is delayed for medical reasons so who knows how long before she jets off to the great land of chile. today was such a happy day. H. Woff and i were walking out the front doors of the mtc to go to steal some bikes and run away aka go to the temple when H. Woff said, "that looks like Elder Rico." and i said, "that IS Elder Rico!" we ran toward each other like in the movies and gave each other a firm handshake. Since he was only home for a couple weeks he gets to stay in our district! Which is so great because besides besties (our favorite elders), Elder Rico is our favorite.

and now, your favorite part of thursday: ?como se dice AWKWARD?
Last sunday Hermana Jensen and I sang in sacrament meeting. Later that night i saw some elders in our zone and they were telling me good job and the same elder who asked me how much i weighed said, "man, ya, you're a knockout!"
than another elder told me i remind him of his ex-girlfriend.
and then H. Woff was in with the tutor working on grammar and he was giving her example sentences. THe first one was "you are beautiful". the next one was, "when you get married, your name will be Hermana Ridge."
my life is hilarious.

elder higgs and elder taylor say hi and thanks for going through raising me even though it must have been so difficult because they appreciate me being here. also, h. woff says she loves you mom and thank you for the AMAZING cupcakes. really though. those were amazing. my family is the best. i brag about you all all of the time. really. have a fabulous week.
