hello my beloved loved ones in the northern hemisphere...
you are all wondering about changes so here we go....hna espinosa left to train again and open a new sector. i maybe cried a little bit when she left. i am now with Hna Chiroque. she is from Peru and this is her last change in the mission. so that means i'll be here for AT LEAST three more months. i won't lie, when i got to san miguel i didn't really like it. i thought it was the ugliest place in chile, and the ward members didn't like the missionaries. i still think it might be one of the ugliest places in chile, but i'm actually okay with that now cause san miguel is like my home in the mission. and now the members love the missionaries. and, i was born here and all. plus i know and love the members and investigators and when i am sad i know who i can go to to talk to (the Araya family). We had an activity on friday night that la chilangita and i had been planning for a couple months and it was awesome--we had 4 investigators show up and 3 inactive members...including 2 of which previously wanted NOTHING to do with the church or anyone in it. ya, the mission is awesome. oh ya, so crazy story. you all know the tv show 16 and i'm pregnant? well there is this member in our ward who has a daughter who is 15 and she is pregnant. and she and her boyfriend are going to be featured on chile's version of that show. welp sorry i have no exciting news. everyday is the same for me...we walk and talk and walk and talk. some days we do more walking than talking. asi es la mision. i love you all. i hope this letter finds you healthy and happy! oh ya, yesterday i completed 5 months in the mission. loco, i know.
