school has been really crazy, hence the reason for not updating for a long time--plus all there is to talk about is school...my life consists of class, study, practice (i pretty much thrive on choir, it's maintained my sanity thus far)...not much excitement here, but i do have a funny story to share-
on tuesdays and thursdays i am tutored in Spanish...it was a random tutor i chose from the board in the JFSB (who happens to be a male-that is pretty cute)...anyway, last thursday we were doing a question-response thing in spanish. it was almost time for me to go to choir so my tutor said, "okay, on this last one i'm going to try to trick you." i was thinking he was going to utilize some concept i had just understood that day, but he said "estas ocupado los sabados?" and i responded, "si, estoy muy ocupado los sabados." then he asked something along the lines of "estas no ocupado (some word i don't know) el sabado?" i just looked at him really confused and said, "i don't know what that means." he said, "it means are you not very busy this saturday?" i said, "oh, okay..." didn't really answer the question--so he said, "ya so if a nerdy boy in your ward calls you up and says 'estas ocupado los sabados?' you'd say, 'si, estoy muy ocupado' but if a cute boy calls you up and asks '(whatever the phrase was he asked me)' then you'd say 'si, no muy ocupado el sabado'." i just said, "alright, thanks." i laughed to myself the whole way to choir and thought i'm not positive, but i think my spanish tutor may have just tried to ask me out...
Before you all start saying, "oh you killed that poor boys pride, or, why didn't you say yes?, or, would you have gone out with him?", in my DEFENSE i don't even know for sure if he was asking me out or if he was just trying to be funny, he wasn't even speaking english, and i already had a date on saturday. plus he's my tutor and that could make things really awkward. or really good. depending on how it went...and if in theory the boy was an endearing, tall, skinny nerd i'd be more likely to say yes to him than to the hottest guy in my ward

OK first...yes and yes that boy was asking you out. I will not give you crap because perhaps you do not get as many cute nerdy boys asking you out as I do....wait....I have none....I digress.....he was asking you out. So next time he tutors you you look him squarly in the eye and say.........
"¿Qué dirías a ti, a mí, y al Musical 3 de la High School secundaria? Y entonces podemos llevar a cabo quizás luego las manos y los milkshakes de la bebida como todos los buenos estudiantes universitarios de BYU hacen. Pero no pedir utilizar mi cuarto de baño… que son los argumentos para la suspensión.
Second, amen to tall skinny nerdy guys.....they are way more attractive than stupid jocks or those prettier than me. Just...you know...keep your hands to yourself in Bountiful, you know what I'm sayin? I already have to worry about like 56 other girls.
