new beginnings

my biggest accomplishments so far this semester:

-ate 5 lbs of peanut butter from September 1st to October 10-discusting, but a great accomplishment nonetheless...i'll never do that again
-finished reading "breaking dawn" worst book i've ever read..bluh, i wanted to puke so often
-gone on a grand total of 1 date
-ate a gallon of mint choc. chip ice cream in less than a week--it was that time of the month, cut me some slack
-established myself as the "best friend"...yet again--at least it's no one i'm attracted to this time-anymore anyway (probably why i've only gone on 1 date)
-been on the go from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. most days yet somehow managed to find time to exercise most days
-got a raise even though i work once a week
-ate 4 boxes of jr. mints in the last 8 days
-passed my first bio test
-done laundry once! (don't worry i own A LOT of underwear and way too many clothes--i'm boycotting the fact we have to put quarters into the washing machine in our house)
-thrown 2 parties at my new house
-recieved mostly a's on my spanish tests..including oral examenes!!! hablo espanol muy bien!
-come up with about 4 options of what i could do next summer and 6 of what i could do next fall...and made NO absolute decisions--but at least i know my options!
-decided on 3 of 6 audition peices
-finally finished learning Liszt's Etude in D flat Major!!!!! (the first "soft" piano piece i've ever learned)
all this and it's only mid-october!!! actually, this is more celebratory of the end of a stage--i've passed the easy part of the semester...starting monday i'm in for a long haul- two term papers, 5 choir concerts, mid-terms and finals, and the last push before auditions...so i bid thee farewell my fair-weather friends. the next time you see me i'll be very thin with bags under my eyes and muttering quickly to myself under my breath, anxiously darting from place to place, my hair disshevled, and if you try to carry on a conversation with me you may feel really awkward, like talking to a fresh-of-the-mission R.M. or just someone that hasn't socialized in weeks. yes, i'm becoming a hermit starting monday. you can find me hidden in a cubby on the back wall of the 5th floor in the library or in practice room C-224 of the HFAC.let's just hope i don't end up with as much facial hair as this guy...
peace+love

Girl, I thought maybe it was a fluke that I made it through four years in Provo with minimal dates. But as I read your blog, it has been confirmed to me that the male population of Provo is a bunch of idiots.

Anyway, man, your semester sounds mouth-watering so far!!! :)

I know you can do it Kell Bell! I have faith you in you! I will be sure to make it down to Provo a few more times this semester to ensure that you are eating...at least something :)
