can you say o c d?

i have become more and more aware recently of just how O.C.D. i am...i thought i'd give you a few examples:
  • i cannot stand cupboards or drawers to be left open...and in the house i live in the cupboards and drawers are very old, so you have to put a little extra effort to shut them tightly...everytime i walk in the kitchen i go around and shut everything tight...except this one cupboard that is broken and doesn't close all the way...it is the bane of my existence
  • if i have my i pod in and i'm walking to school then see someone and stop to talk to them i always have to start the song over...
  • i fix typos in text messages, and punctuate everything...
  • i have a certain way i like the pillows and blankets to be set up in our living room...everytime i walk in there they've been changed around and i always have to change them back...i finally just quit going in there...

now it's your turn...is there anything you are ocd about?

Hey Kelli! I totally share your OCD for editing. I correct grammar mistakes when I read novels, I can't stand them! Unless of course it is a mark of the author such as Faulkner or Saramago, or if it is done for artistic purposes, but otherwise I don't understand how editors can miss such simple mistakes. Ugh!

i also edit my text messages. sometimes if i'm in a hurry to send one, i'll send it with spelling mistakes and what not, but it really hurts me to do so.
