i like to go bowling with my friend bert

today we went bowling for a district activity. i think i scored 60 points in two games.
i have now officially completed my first change.
this week i ran into a bush.
then i sang the impossible dream for all this old ladies and they loved it. all the old people here love man of la mancha.
marco got baptized on friday--the man who played ¨blackbird´´ on the car when he found out i like the beatles too? it was so great. president and hna king came too.
yesterday this woman came to the church looking for the mormons. because where else in chile do you go to find a gringo who speaks english and spanish. she has to learn english in a month for a job interview. yes, she has all of february to learn to speak english. apparently she already knows all the grammar and how to write. just not speak. so my companion told her we can spend an hour with her everyday as long as we spend the first 10 minutes teaching a gospel principle and open and close each lesson with a prayer. as my companion who doesn´t speak any english was setting this all up i was thinking to myself, ¨how the heck am i going to teach this woman to speak english in one month?´´ any number of prayers would be appreciated.
then we met this man anson. he is geneal. en serio. we started talking with him and he said ¨ i´ve spent my whole like looking for the truth. i spent 10 years studying with the catholics, 5 years with the jehova´s witness, 10 years with other various branched of christianity and in my house we follow gods law. but i´ve never had the opportunity to study with the mormons. the problem is everyone preaches of christ but no one lives what they preach. i want to go to your church and learn your ways´´ ha. i´m so stoked to teach him the gospel.
oh ya, just barely when we were walking out of the metro station to come to the internet place a man tried to rob me. i could feel someone following really close behind me, then i saw his reflection in a window. so i grabbed my bag and pulled it to my front and the zipper was open. luckily there was nothing of value in that pocket and everything is still there.
