I've had the time of my live… and I owe it all to you

German is getting baptized. and no that is not a joke. i am as happy as can be and basically yesterday was the best fathers day of my life...we had a lovely lunch with the araya family, taught a lovely lesson (well actually more like a lesson that went like this-"you do realize how ridiculous this is from our point of view that you still haven't been baptized....you go to church everyweek, hold family night, pay fast offerings, drive the ward members to seminary, are more reliable than our actual ward mission leader, bought 5 giant bags of potatos to distribute amongst ward members that don't have any money, went to all the sessions of stake conference, are reading the book of mormon, know more about church history than some active members that were born in the church, and believe that the church is true, joseph smith was a prophet, your heavenly father loves you, etc when 6 months ago none of the above was true so you just simply can't progress anymore till you recieve the gift of the holy ghost so you can be cleansed from all your sins."), and he will be baptized on july 2nd. when we asked him and he said yes i just sat there and didn't even know what to say and just felt happier than i've ever felt in my life.
i love the rain in chile. the weather has been beautiful.
a few weeks ago we contacted this young man who is a police man and so we couldn't go to his house to teach him (they live all together in housing and people can't really visit, especially not women). Guillermo. so we invited him to church but never thought anything of it. the other day we were sitting there studying after lunch when the phone rang....it was guillermo. he asked if i was still in chile and if he could come visit us "um, no, we are missionaries but you are more than welcome to come to church on sunday, chao".
welp, i love you all. i hope you're as content as i am.
love,
kelli jean, hruss.
