my blessed beloved loved ones,
everyday i am more and more convinced that Heavenly Father loves us and knows us individually. on thursday, Juanita called us and asked us to come to lunch a little earlier cause she wanted to talk with us. the appointment we had in the morning just so happened to fall through so we went right to her house. she has a very sad story actually. her husband abused her for several years, but now he has changed a lot. he still has a bit of a temper but he's active in the church and is trying to change his character. she had surgery last week on her colon or something. anyway, as we were talking she had a sudden pain in the mouth of her stomache and couldn't stand up or even talk very well. she was so scared, but we called her husband and she could get to the doctor. she said, i'm so glad you are here. i know God didn't want me to be alone.
the not-so-spiritual part of the story is that she was talking about possibly getting sealed to her husband when she got that pain. ha.
yesterday i gave a talk in church about optimism. i wrote my talk late saturday night, but it turned out to be a really quality talk and one that no one is ever going to forget...because as i spoke about optimism i kept using the work "optomistico" which come to find out is not actually a word. it's "optimista" just so you all know. anyway for the rest of church everyone talked about how we all need to be more optomistico.
so if you want to really get your point across, all you have to do is make up a new word and repeat it several times.
i love you all. this week we are having a meeting with elder zeballos from the 70. that should be fun.
love,
kelli jean, hruss.
peace+love
