we had an awesome conference with elder zeballos from the seventy this week. that was good and spiritual. then i got to have a interview with him. which was alright too. i'm just way excited for this saturday cause one of the twelve apostles i'm pretty sure is coming this saturday so we're having another conference. the only stinky thing is it's in santiago and starts at 9 so we have to get up at like 4:15 that day. it reminds me of working at the pool the 5-7 shift. except that i won't be wearing a bathing suit.
we had a really good week. we had 8 inactive members in church yesterday and 3 investigators. so that was happy. there was more people in church than the whole time i've been here. the ward is starting to change a bit. people are a lot more friendly with each other. and i learned how to make soapaipillas this week. bad because they're so good. fried flour, squash, water, yeast, and salt.
everyone should read daughters in my kingdom..the book about relief society. it is awesome. and everyone should do their visiting and home teaching. because your eternal salvation depends on it and i would like to be with you all forever. i liked this quote from daughters in my kingdom, "our eternal happiness will be in proportion to the way that we devote ourselves to helping others." - President George Albert Smith.
a prophet said it, so it must be true.
i love you all. have a fabulous week!
love,
kelli jean, hruss.
p.s. roasting mallows by candelight to celebrate a year! maybe at 18 months i'll be living in a house so i can burn a skirt.

peace+love
