meanwhile, back at the ranch

dear lovers,
monday night was fabulous. ha. we had a family home evening and as the treat afterward they gave us plums. plums are MAGICAL. tuesday morning i woke up and i think all the bad stuff that was in my stomache is now gone. yesterday i gave a talk in church. NOT about being "optimistico". it was about having a positive attitude. AND nicole, my bestest friend from san miguel, came to visit me! i found out this week that the young single adults in my ward all know her so we were talking about her and paolo told her to come to visit me. ¡FELICIDAD! this week we found francisco. he was a reference from the other missionaries and he has schizophrenia (spelling?). it reminded me of "a beautiful mind". he is really smart. he remembers everything we tell him. and he is really, really sensitive. anyway, he makes me laugh cause his aunt (who i can only imagine has suffered a lot living with someone with schizophrenia) has a pretty brusk personality. so when he gets mad at her he start imitating how she yells like pinochet. which is a lot funnier if you know who pinochet is. he kind of growls like a lion. so look it up. (he was president/dictator of chile). okay well this email is long enough. i love you all immensly. i hope you have a great week.
