the headache of the century

when i decided to audition for choir this year i was really hoping to audition for concert choir cause i love men's voices. lets be honest, i prefer their voices much more to a high pitched soprano solo-thank heaven i was born an alto...but for whatever reason i ended up auditioning for womens chorus...i love women's chorus...actually, i thrive on women's chorus. after leaving woods cross high school i never thought i would have a choir director quite as amazing as Mr. H because, frankly, he changed my life...then i tried out for women's chorus and have Sis. Appeloni...she is the definition of a lady. i have so much respect for her, and she has created musical experiences for me this year that i know i will never forget. i hope that i can be as inspiring a director as her one day. i also love the two girls i sit by so much (though i hate taking pictures with them as the oreo above illustrates)! i have become really great friends with aimoku and rachel...aimoku and i are in the same boat as far as getting into the music program so we dwell and worry together. (worrying is so much better when you're not doing it alone). i've loved every peice we've sung this year, our service projects and activities...it's been an experience i would not ever replace to be in concert choir!
as long as i'm putting off studying (i've been REALLY good at that this week) i'll tell you a funny story. hopefully it's as good as when i act it out in real life. So yesterday i was in an abnormally good mood. really, nothing had happened to make it that way, i was just smiling all day. i came home and talked to one of my best friends on the phone for 40 minutes who i miss so much (and get to see on friday!!!) so then i was all giddy and excited and went running down the stairs...i decided to skip the last few stairs but misjudged the height of the ceiling. when i jumped my forehead smacked into the wall then threw me back and the back of my head hit the stairs...i just laid there and alicia came running out of our bedroom asking if i was okay and i started half laughing half crying (for whatever reason i laugh when i'm in a lot of pain) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQcglh8uIJ4 i felt like the little kid at 0:20...
