been a long time comin'

-i've wanted to every tuesday for the last 6 weeks
-i came too close for comfort last week
-and today, after much tribulation, my eyes welled up-- and at the question, "am i going to make you cry?" i cast my eyes to the floor, and for the first time in my life, i bawled in a voice lesson...
my teacher made me feel a little better when she said, "if my voice coaches were paid extra for every time i cried in a lesson, they'd be rich"
...she was really nice to me the rest of the lesson
has a teacher ever made you cry?

oh man...i'm sorry! i'm pretty sure i cried a few times during piano lessons but that was mostly my fault for not practicing as much as i should have. my teacher was kind of mean about it sometimes.

also, in first grade, we had a substitute teacher who wore white leggings with stirrups and you could see through them and she had a tattoo on her butt. she yelled at our class and told us all to shut up and i think i cried because i thought shut up was a really bad word. it obviously traumatized me since i remember all the details.

:( love you kj.

my piano teacher made me cry all the time when i was little. the ironic part was that it was the weeks that i practiced the hardest that she would get mad at me, thus making me cry

my second grade teacher made me cry. i was talking or something when i wasn't supposed to, and she pulled my card from green to yellow. i had to leave the classroom to compose myself. most dramatic classroom experience in all of elementary school.

She made you cry because she said something mean? What a rude lady...or man. They should hear me sing then I can make THEM cry!

ha ha, kerri, she was only getting impatient because she couldn't get the sound she wanted out of me...but i talked to a couple of other people in my studio and they said to expect try cry about once a semester...she's not mean, it's just her teaching style, and it's usually very effective

Kerri - you never cease to crack me up. Kelli, I cried when my mom made me practice the piano instead of watching the Flintstones and Gilligan's Island. Life can be rough. Oh - sorry about your foot. LM
